Every knife so far has been an absolute gem.

I'm not at all bitter about this.

Hope it doesn’t take too long. Mine has an expected delivery date of tomorrow, but I’m not holding my breath. Usually I can count on USPS packages to go from one big regional facility (OKC in this case) directly to Minneapolis, but this one left OKC two days ago, then showed up in Nashville this morning.

I predict that one will age very gracefully... very nicely matched.

Gorgeous stag on this fine example. I usually prefer a darker more knarly stag but this one is probably the most beautiful example of a lighter stag I’ve seen. Even my wife commented positively and that’s rare when it comes to my knives…

I received the Mount of Olives 77 today.... IMO, the most significant knife GEC has constructed..... The wood makes up 99% of the allure...... Thank you knifeswapper for obtaining the wood and making this knife available......

Bummer. These stag pics are really making me jealous. I am thrilled to get a saw cut, but it was the consolation prize. I wish Mike would source all of GEC’s stag for them. This run of 77s has been pretty stellar. All cover choices look pretty amazing to me.
