knifeswapper I apologize in advance if you answered this already, but I have not seen the question asked yet. Has GEC dropped the requirement for dealer stamp on SFO’s?

They asked if I wanted an etch, and I said "no". Was a bit of a surprise to me as well.

I opened every tube and looked at every slab. I didn't sort them or set them aside, they went right back in the "picking box" if they were fine and were randomly drew out during packing and dropped in the ship box. Thus, I have a good number of culls that will be moved somehow over the next couple weeks once the dust settles. (please don't email wanting one yet).

I’m very happy with the character of the grain in my example. What a special knife. The first knife I received and immediately thought, “I won’t use this one”.

Thanks Barrett! I'm contemplating it! My exact thoughts also on the slip, but since I missed my opportunity I'm going to purchase one from LynchLeather on Instagram, he makes great quality slips. This knife surely deserves a good quality properly fitting slip

I feel very fortunate to be able own this little piece of meaningful history. It may be a material item, but it will serve as a wonderful reminder to be grateful and not take things for granted. Thanks again Mike!

Nice, Taylor! As an aside - does that knife say "Made in Sheffield" anywhere? I kid, of course, but it does remind me of pretty much all of my Sheffield-made stag Lambsfoot knives.
