That's really cool! I guess I missed that on the reserve page. I've actually visited Jerusalem many years ago, and it was awesome. I may be leaning towards an olive wood now. This was also posted on the reservation page:

To sway the opinion back toward the stag - I had the wood sent directly to GEC (years ago) so I haven't seen it. But Bill commented that most did not have a lot of character (which is typical of olive). But it has such a great story, I wanted it on a knife.
Wish I coulda snagged one. The historical aspect is amazing. To sway the opinion back toward the stag - I had the wood sent directly to GEC (years ago) so I haven't seen it. I agree, even though I missed the CK list I’m going to try for the saw cut. If these barlows are as nice as the last ones, I don’t think anyone will be disappointed.I will be perfectly content with whatever variation I can get my mitts on. I don't forsee a winner or loser in this run, they will all be fantastic
Will you be filling orders arbitrarily, or posting another private reserve where those who signed up will have to choose from the options available? To sway the opinion back toward the stag - I had the wood sent directly to GEC (years ago) so I haven't seen it.
