2022 GEC #36 ElephantToenail/Elephant Toe/Sunfish Thread

Oh yes, I just think of them as the other name they go by on the GEC site. The other one you mentioned is one of only a couple that still sells at MAP pricing. Most dealers are above that. You should probably feel lucky to get one and still much better than aftermarket prices. Congrats!
Thank you sir, I definitely feel lucky because I sure did swing and miss a few times before scoring a white bone today haha. Thank you!

Big recycling day here as we just had a dining table and chairs delivered. The remaining cardboard needed to be put in its place if it was going to fit the bin. I'll be honest, the cardboard didn't even see the 36 coming, it was a blood bath. D703CF17-9F17-4528-9D20-81EA6E782D7E.jpeg

I was on the fence with these 36s, glad I came to my senses.
I have named these two 'Goat boy' and 'Salty' 😆

These are much more fun than I thought they would be. The cocobolo on this one is ridiculous. The spring is dead flush in all 3 positions. No doubt it weighs down the pocket, but I'll try some carry.
That’s a nice one… congrats
Cocobolo is cream of the crop imho.

Agreed… So nice
These Cocobolos are awesome… congrats
These two came in today. The Cocobolo is mine, and the Ivory Bone is Mrs. Crappie’s. She loves the elephant shield, but I think the Northfield is the star of the show!

Beauty’s 👏👏👏
Top notch trio

My cocobolo has cut up cardboard, some meat, and dropped on cement tip down which caused a bent tip that had to be sharpened out. Do you think this will hurt re-sale value?
You can assume that being it was used to begin with, that will diminish the resale a bit to begin with. It probably depends on how dramatic the damage was, and how well you were able to repair it. If it's not too bad, someone would probably just want it as a user anyways, and the price would be commensurate. Can you post a pic of your repair?

I was only kidding, this thing isn't getting sold. Tip sharpened out just fine, just slightly rounded off the top a bit.
