That is truly spectacular -- congrats! This beauty came today and it’s another example of GEC quality fit and finish. The jigging is well done and the coloring imho stunning. I have the smooth white bone too and I think this one is my favorite.

Honestly this is really cool. It looks like something one would carry on an African SafariThis beauty came today and it’s another example of GEC quality fit and finish. The jigging is well done and the coloring imho stunning. I have the smooth white bone too and I think this one is my favorite.

Two beauties indeed!![]()
I should be picking up a res jigged bone as well then I will make my decision of which one is going to be the user. Initially I wasn’t too crazy over my smooth white bone when I pulled it out of the tube but now that I have it side by side with my ebony it’s definitely growing on me. The Cocobolo’s are nice but I have a few Cocobolo’s in my collection already so I wanted some new covers. Both this ebony and smooth white bone are new to me.
I hear ya. The banner is surely the best of the bunch. I guess at least on 3 of them the shield is indicative of the pattern even if it is a little cheesy. It sort of fits with the white one as it is an Elephant Toenail and it's India Ivory Bone. I really don't care for or understand the bullhead on the red one. Oh boy, it's American Cattle Bone! How rare!Man I really wish they went with a more traditional shield on more of these. The banner absolutely nailed it. The more I look at my elephant shields the more I think it's an odd gimmick. Love the pattern with the blade shape, just don't think 3/5 needed an out of the box thinking animal shield.
The banner shield is ideal on this frame. Just got a coco on a trade and its fantastic. I don't really like the looks of any of the other models (though the ebony is striking), but the Coco is a homerun, the perfect mix of features across the board. Feels great in the hand, too.Man I really wish they went with a more traditional shield on more of these. The banner absolutely nailed it.
