Got my ebony wood in hand, and like many others I'm impressed with it. Solid thing. Beautiful, even jet black wood. I'm looking forward to the white bone, though I think it will feel significantly heavier. These cocobolo are going to be gorgeous. I hope the blades are satin on these Northfields.

I just got my white bone this afternoon. Another beauty for sure. It is heavier than the ebony by about 20 grams. 130 vs. 150 grams. 5.25 ounces is way too much for me to pocket carry. I wouldn't carry this one though anyways. The pull on mine seems a tad stronger than the ebony, but still nice and smooth with a strong locking half stop. Fit and finish are first rate. This bone emulates ivory very well. Another wonderful GEC !

I noticed that too, I haven't been able to score a drop from that dealer since the bullnose 71 drop, I think I need faster internet speed. Best of luck

Yep, they have a huge mailing list and I think they have become a flipper haven. It can't hurt to try though. I already have mine, but maybe some others here on the porch may luck out and score one.

Ha, it's impossible to buy anything from that dealer. Mostly because their website is slow, they announce the drop in advance, and they release the knives in small batches for some reason.

Yep, I used tyo be able to buy from them and take my time picking the one I wanted. Times sure have changed!

Yep, they are a joke. I was right on it when it dropped and it said “Buy now with one click” and that one click got me a no stock available notification while at the same time saying there’s 12 left in stock. Luckily I got notification from another vendor that he had a smooth white bone for me if I wanted it so the knife gods smiled upon me today .

The jigged bone looks alot darker than I expected, but still looks pretty cool.

Are the production numbers on these 36s really small compared to other recent releases?

I usually can get at least one variation of a knife release, but this 36 release just seems tougher than usual.

Looking back at the early reserve message from CK, they said the number they expected to get for all variations was "very small" so it's possible that the entire run is low production.

Gave in and ordered/purchased one from the bay. I know paid to much but got frustrated missing drops. Hopefully better luck on the white bone or cocobolo, no luck yet though.

I wish theyd make more too, but theyre not leaving money on the table. The odds are whatever they produce next will sell just as fast.
