At the tang it is approximately square..... maybe 1/8" x 1/8".......

It has to cary two full thickness main blades, not two secondary thinner blades.

Got it. I wonder if one brass (?) pin is enough to hold it securely for a long term use? It won't eventually crumble and the spring pop out?

How's the tension though? ~10/10?

The rocker pin on the spring has plenty of shear strength..... If you exposed the knife to a filthy, gritty environment, you could wear out any of the components from abrasion.....

My guess is 6-7 on the pull..... The nicks are near the tips so you have lots of leverage.....

I have had, and seen hundreds of Brass-pinned, Single-springed knives, with never a broken pin!!
