Nice pictures, John!! Impressive specimens also!!TOM IS BACK! and boy am I happy!
It’s definitely a looker and does indeed have a flameDon't overlook these coco 14s, mine seems to almost have a little chatoyancy.

I shouldn’t have done it, but I did pull out this clip point #14 from the earlier run. I was starting to convince myself that the newer ones were the same, but the action is significantly weaker on the new 14 Barlows. I’d rate the new ones at a 4 on my scale and the earlier ones at a 6. I wonder why they changed it?![]()
If the wobble is bad enough that you notice it and it bothers you, I would send them in for service.I’ve got two of these Barlows (lick creek sfo and goldenrod) and unfortunately they both have side-to-side blade play.
These are the first GEC’s I’ve gotten that have blade play.
I really like them otherwise so wanted to ask if you all think its worth sending them back to the factory to fix the blade play or if it was you would you just let it be?
I love that soup bone and one day I will have one... (and if the few and proud that got one ever want to sell please keep me in mind).TOM IS BACK! and boy am I happy! Thank youwaynorth for the opportunity to own such beautiful knives. The coco on mine is really nice too.
