Sure, Pete. Osage was used by native Americans for their Bows. As an archeology nut, I think that is groovy. Also used as a hedgerow by settlers as they moved West.
That is absolutely awesome and it makes me even prouder to own the Osage 15. Thank you very much for sharing sir
I don't blame you, it's fantastic! 🤠

Spear blades aren't my favorite either, but they do look amazing... very traditional looking.

That would be interesting, you don't see many Wharncliffe Barlows... I'd have to think about that combo for a while.
You’re absolutely right John, the spear blade does look cool. I received a cool red slip as a gift so the Osage might be calling it home soon and you’ll see it a lot more frequently. Now a wharncliffe Barlow in Osage would be 😍

2022 and 2018 14 TC single clips. The centermost smooth white bone and centermost ebony are rounded variants. Photo isn't intended to show the difference between them (more evident in person) but the reflection on the right edge of the ebony on the right compared to the more rounded one in the center shows the difference. Rounded versions have a single green dot on the labels. The star is the super tasty soup in the center, but in the last four years the rounded smooth white bone next to it has yellowed enough to look fabulous! The coco has the most fire of any coco GEC I own. Ebonies are dark as night. As the thread title is Lick Creek Barlows, pulled my only 2016 spear 14 Lick Creek TC for the last shot.

I'm a little late to this party as I've had the new knives for a bit - just haven't had a chance to post them yet.

I love the heart and soul that is imparted to Lyle's Lick Creek Barlow - it's a special piece and I am honored to have it. Of course, the same goes for Charlie's - Cocobolo looks rather smashing on this latest addition to his legacy. They join a rather modest selection of 14s in my possession, each and every one a gem, in my humble opinion.

I still favor Lyle's white bone 14 - that tang stamp is a beautiful thing, the knife ain't so shabby either.

Yes, that is a beautiful tang stamp. I was hoping they would use the Lick Creek Cut Co. tang stamp on the new Wormy Chestnut 14 TC Barlow. It seems like a missed opportunity to make that knife even more special.

If I remember correctly, Charlie has said before that Bill won't use the Waynorth (or Lick Creek) tang stamp on the TC Barlows because of the TC (Tidioute Cutlery) on the bolster.
