I bought an "S" model. Its a beautiful knife that has a crack in the scale on one liner side. That doesnt bother me so much but the knife has a good amount of side to side blade play.

My sienna bone turned up today. Can't really fault it other than the edge is a little uneven, nothing I can't fix. It's a beautiful knife for sure but can't say I instantly warm to it. I like a weighty knife and it feels a little light for me, also I think it confirms I'm a slip joint man.

I did get a lemon, meaning up and down and side too side play, it was same as my violet bone from the last run. BUT I peened the blade tang and now it is solid. No wiggle at all. It's such a beautiful knife and perfect size for my hands. Thank you YouTube. She's a keeper!!

I just did it, and it worked great! Mine was far from a lemon, but it did have the slightest vertical wiggle that I couldn’t stand. It’s so simple I can’t believe I never thought of it. 😀
