does it dig into the palm in any way? This is definitely one of those id examine in hand before purchasing

The 34 doesn’t, nor does the 33 or 92… why? I have no idea, they all look less than comfortable, but they work.

less than comfortable is how id imagine it. i do have the 92 and had one deleted, but the weak pull from that run mostly relegated the knife to the tube. this one looks a bit more pronounced

I love big pens so I’m excited to try this one but I hope the Northfield variants are pretty. I could persuade myself to like the Tidioute in cocobolo but I would rather have fancy bolsters etc. I never thought clip/pen combos were my preferred combination but I seem to be accumulating more of them than anything else. It might not be exciting but it’s inoffensive and hard to argue with too much from a practical standpoint.

Mine came today! It was a little gritty, but some Dawn, hot water, and mineral oil got that sorted. I was a little apprehensive when I first opened the pen blade. On my BF34, the pen is really difficult to open consistently. I need to have completely dry hands, take 7 focused breaths, close my eyes, and grunt. The pen on my 32 is completely unremarkable in that regard. It opens like a champ and is a very useful blade.

Sorry no photos yet. It's been riding in my pocket all afternoon, and helped out with some gardening. What a great knife! I'm still a little dazed that I was able to buy this so casually.

I didn't notice it digging into my palm at all. Very comfortable to work with.
