Just curious, are the blades on the 32 the same as those on the 78? They sure look the same, and it makes sense for GEC to make a large run of blades that they can use on different models.

Yes, they appear to be although they are thicker at the tang on the 32.

The cocobolo seems nicer on this run. Darker and richer.

These are excellent knives. If I could give my grandfather a GEC knife, it would be this one. I believe he would have found it to be just about perfect. Then he would use the heck out of it!

This one went to immediate use - patina already in the works. Love the pattern. FF not the best on mine but I’m very happy and thankful I was able to get one.

This cocobolo has some good character!

Something interesting I just noticed looking at the pictures on C. Risner Cutlery; my 32 has one brass liner on each side, the ones on C. Risner Cutlery have two liners on the show side.
