2024 GEC 39s - Let’s see em!

Yes, they are.
Just wanted to make sure, even though it was pretty obvious. Always wondered why just satin finish goes with that etch, if it's a homage to something, or simply Bill's choice to add to the uniqueness. waynorth waynorth do you happen to have any intel regarding that small but fascinating detail?

What is that?? (Please excuse my ignorance!)

Parker jotters used to come out with some special variations called lunch room specials. Basically when they were changing the color for the pen barrels or cleaning the injection mold, it would result in a variation in the colors. Also known as end of the day special. Worth a bit to jotter and parker collectors. I focused on the steel construction myself because of its practically indestructible quality. ive carried a steel parker jotter since about hs and they continue to serve me in the hospital and clinic.

the problem is i collect too much!!! ive been collecting hobbies since i can remember, knives, watches (pocket and wrist), pens (fountain and ballpoint), playing cards, coins, pens, rubik's cubes, books, harmonicas. the problem is storage 😂 i am slowly approaching the limit of diminishing returns for some of these hobbies tho.

I feel ya, man. Post stamps, coins, playing cards, action figures... Though in much more modest amounts, I suppose (except for the knives maybe). It all fades with time, you sell 'em all but a few you like the best and feel much better about it (and have more empty space). Now I am only into quality traditional knives as a side hobby. Might get me one or two modern ones from time to time, but always trying to reduce the quantity of moderns to the absolute minimum.

Sorry for the off-topic.

Amen, even traditionals wise ive dialed back significantly. i had a little bit of a sebenza frenzy a few years ago but right back in the box they went. Just something about these 39s tho. Cousin of the 15 as Randy Bell would say. Just a curved relation 🤣
