2024 GEC 39s - Let’s see em!

I didn't get all of the 39s from this run. I only managed to get these two. 😉

Here are all my 39s, a fast favorite pattern for sure.

Congratulations on those club knives! I didn't get called for one this time much to my dismay, they are the best of the 39s imo.
 
The 39 run has been a rich seam of variety-for some it might have been a goldmine ;) Our tastes in knives are sometimes contradictory . The Forum Bunny Knife didn't interest me but knew there would be other 39s later on. Never liked Blue much as a colour for knives, no idea why . A single Spey ? No, prefer that blade as a secondary . Looking over the first batch of 39s was impressed by the looks of a long single Spey and by the good choices of scales-which was compounded by the release of the 2 blade versions, some rich bones there.

But I really only fixed on the Blue Micarta and with luck and assistance from two very decent gents here the knife is now here far away in Europe :cool: Like it very much, it may not have the glamour of some of the Bones but it looks very well in Blue Micarta, great finish and action. In hand it's nice and light without flimsiness, similar to the Boy's 15 but with a curved handle. Boy's Gelding Knife eh?;) I could think of a few schoolmates meriting gelding when I was a kid:D:cool: Sure I'm not alone in that....The other 39 Single I like is that Ivory Bone one, real looker and sports a fine shield. Hurrah for 39, we can all agree on.

Yes indeed, quite the run!!! thanks to Jakeywax31 Jakeywax31 i am now able to start considering that mod project on that long pull spey 🤣:eek: totally need to finish setting up my laptop as I havent been able to share my haul so far. Funny enough, I am literally missing just this one, single micarta blue from completing every general release of the 39 sans rendezvous/sfas/gun club knife. but nailed most of the doubles, ironically. its that long pull spey that can be modded. fortunately this endeavor is not as ambitious as my delete attempt. ive modded the old one arm 15s so this project will be quite interesting.
