2024 GEC 39s - Let’s see em!

New arrival today, and I can now definitely say that I'm a big fan of the two-blade version of the latest 39 run. As has already been noted, the extra heft really balances things out nicely. This one is a bit more muted in color than others I have seen, which I like a lot. Great job by GEC!

Yes you do look a bit short on them in that photo.

I have a 2 blade Beaver tail on its way to me.

At the same time I sourced a 2 blade Blue Micarta for someone which ive paid for and had the seller send straight on.

Made up with this one that's found it's way to me.
But if you had me over a barrel ... I'm not sure the Spey suits the long pull and extra long swedge?
I'm sure I've seen a different version of a long pull and shorter swedge out there? Maybe on a 15?? (edit, it's the "A New Day" TC Barlow from 2015) that's a handsome Spey)

You can’t beat that giraffe bone, but of the standard issue releases, the Indian Paintbrush worm groove is my favorite.
