Could not be said more epically ❤️

That was one of the things that caught my attention, too. The episode of Mythbusters where they tested revolvers to see how much potential damage the side blast from the barrel-cylinder gap could cause, was eye opening.
I used to shoot a super redhawk a lot laying on my back- supporting the handgun with my knee bent and canted with the barrel over the lop of my lateral shin. The amount of damage my jeans would take was remarkable. My .500 opened up quite a few sandbags from the cylinder gap blast.

Since we are on the topic of lost and found, since she isn't on the forum, Katie called me Jo the Machinist Jo the Machinist . She wanted me to ask you to keep a look out for something she lost at the gathering. She said is a very small sack of Asian nuts, they were last seen in her purse where they have been for years.
I thought there was a mixed bag of Asian nuts at the gathering? 😂

Running the Super Assassin was a dream come true for me!

You had a good run with it toker toker and made Dan proud!

I am glad that the Super Assassin survived unscathed from Fonedork Fonedork ’s errant run with it at the bottle station. Smoking a cigar while chopping cost him a lot of points. 😮‍💨

It was very generous of Dan and Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist to allow us unarmed first-timers to use their most fearsome weapons for the Outlaw Cut.

I also need to give a big shout-out to Dan for his excellent safety training and coaching for everyone throughout the long day. You are awesome!

Thanks!!

Phil

Now I have 3. A lot left to go! UF1 needs some new fasteners but that’s the one that started it all. Always gonna love it. Beat that thing through a really bad knot in some wood (and some) and nothing but that tiny amount of wear of the acid etch near the tip (the yellow is over applied CLP oil) It’s still my favorite one and may always be. The tero feels so nice in hand, but yeah I gotta figure out how to maintain the texture well.

I've never applied any CLP or any other oil to my 3V. I just rinse it, dry it off and put it back in the sheath. I have a BFK strapped to my waterfowl hunting pack and it's seen it's share of salt water. Not a speck of rust.
