334dave's Alpha-scaled 110 Workman

Hi Dave and All,

I love the rubber grips that Dave put on this 110. They are comfortable when in hand. When you get it wet and slippery it stays in hand and does not slip around. I put this knife to use on card board, venison, and a few home repair jobs...it worked well. If you are going to use an open sheath like the one Jack made...this rubber keeps it in place very well (Oh Jack sent you a note). I'd buy one of these 110's if it were offered (I would like a removable/interchanging grip as trax suggested). Ok, who wants to give the Dave "rubber-a-chuck" 110 a try next?

I;m interested, I'd like to try this baby out... PM sent.

The rubber bucky arrived today safe and sound (thanks JB!)

I like the rubber grip material -- very positive feel. I don't think I've seen the Buck Work-man (tm) etching on the blade before. My first impression is this is a winner.

Very nice holster as well, as a test I turned it upside down and rubber bucky held in there very nice ;) Also tested the hoster with a 110FG also held very nicely.

I've be using this over the next couple of weeks and get some good pictures.

use it like you stole it !!! hee hee
let us know how thegrips work out for you and what you think of interchangeable grips...
chow for now...

Today, I used this knife like I stole it :D

First, I had to put a good edge on her... little work on the stone... her edge shone like a diamond in the night :D

Working on a little renovation work here at the homestead (my part time hobby), put the rubber buck to the test... had to peel the wallpaper from two rooms (worked on one today). Fortunately, the wallboard had a primer coat so the wall paper adhesive wern't too bad. Now, I've got scappers/blades for spreading wallboard mud, however, the rubber buck was excellent at starting the peel process without doin too ANY damage to the wallboard!

Used it for about 2 hours today, great positive grip... nice comfort in the overall handle took a couple of pictures, will send those off to Dave. Got some carpet in these rooms that need to be surgically sliced... will get some pict's when I slice those up

Like the holster... been carrying the 110 the last couple of days (where can I get one of these? ;) )

An ugly feller from Colorado made it! jack9393@msn.com if you want to contact him personal. I think he used to be a high school principal or something--that's why his nerves are shot and he has to do leather work to keep his hands from shakin'.
