Thank you -- usually most of my blades, all I need is to touch it up on my stone (shown in this thread #85), using a standard bevel. Started with that, however from the tip to the first third was not as sharp as I like. Probably from all the wallpaper I removed ;) . So, I touched up the forward third of the knife with the Lansky diamond taper. Then hit the stone again for a final edging, and smoothing out the rough edge the diamond taper left. (bought that primarily for the serrations) I'm a little obsessive about having a sharp edge on my knives :)

Nice looking 'mater in that picture by the way! Was helping the wife last night cutting up some peppers... the kitchen knife wasn't cutt'n it ;), pulled out the trusty 110 sliced through those peppers like crazy.

BTW, i think decafe dave mentioned that CJ Buck may want to look at the rubber bucky... dave?

Joe has seen the rubber bucky... i think CJ has also but i dont know...
several of the Buck elves in prototype are evesdroping and reading this thread for the feed back on the handle scales ...
i offered in atlanta to have it sent to 'them' and was told ~

"NO! We are wanting to see what all the others have to say about it."
and youa'l have been doing a fine job of it...
the one is wandering jest how many places it will go!
so you guys are haveing your thoughts heard!!!

i tryed to in another thread to get more response to some questions as to why us
buck nuts buy the knives but that thread did not go far...

so i can tell you once more that what we say here dont stay here...
it goes to post falls and is a topic over lunch more offten then we know.

You did a fine job of sharping her woody.She cut through them Mater's
real easy.:thumbup: There ain't nothing like a sharp 110 for putting up

I got all my Mater's put up.All the squash is cut up and in the freezer.
I cut up some hot peppers and made pepper sause.Cleaned her up real good.
So she is ready to go to the next Buck Brother that wants to try her out.

naw i wont charge rent to any one ...
if at my house i may ask to chip in for chow and wash dishes some times
but nothing i dont do my self...
well ... now if you are a better cook you may want to cook most the time...

O.K. Dave I 'll cook for knife rent.:D :D I got a note from EEE,Ron,
and he want's to try her out next.So Friday she if off to stay
at EEE's place.

well this makes two trips to the lone star state...
eee lives close enught to dropp it off at my daughters house!
i used to drive close to his naborhood to work at times...
wamder of any one in cal wants to take it for a tryal';
