#35 Beer and Sausage Bar Tool Knife

Well, can't say it ain't a thing. In ox horn even...

I dont know how I feel about this knife. I have a beard, but not combing length. Seems kind of hipsterish. I do like its uniqueness though. I'm curious to see what the cover options will be

I wonder if the wording they put on there is a joke, and it's actually a real bar tool to clear the foam off a head of beer. Its not really for a beard.

If that truly is the case, I'm going to have a healthy chuckle at my expense.

I might have a comb delete done (and rehandled) just so I can carry it every day with another knife lol
I like this idea Jeff. I'd kind of like something GEC to carry when I can't carry a knife. I wouldn't hate a comb/scissors combo....

Is this an sfo or regular production?
Dog grooming knives have always interested me.
GEC also had the STREk electricians knife with a saw.
Just weird enough to get.
No knife shows this year, and I have really only bought one knife for me.
Just some random late night thoughts.

I'm not as hot or cold on this as many seem to be.

I do have a beard, but don't let it grow long enough to necessitate a comb.

I have more knives, forks, and bottle openers than I need.

Yet, the odds seem favorable that I'll try to get one.

I’m still new to GEC, have they ever pulled a significant bait-n-switch? I think this would make one hell of a bar conversation piece as announced but they've only published photos of two blades so this may be a 352220.

Maybe the comb could be used as an alternative fork  it does look a little more tiney, I probably won’t use the comb for grooming personally.. it’s a bit of a head scratcher, but I love the quirkiness of it and the fork/knife combo is nice

Both nail nicks on the mark side?! I pass! Although that little tail on the comb could have many uses...

I thought it was a hoax. I see now that it is a gimmicky novelty....a very good quality well made gimmicky novelty but nevertheless.
Perfect for those who like beard hairs and dandruff on their sausages.Or does one simply floss with a piece of clogged up hair from the comb.
But wait! Will there be a follow up GEC beard comb cleaning tool?
Hipsters only.

Not sure if vulgar is the right word...ill conceived maybe...unhygenic?
Whynot the 2020 BF knife?
Ha Ha!!! What an amazing "thing"!!:p
I am going to get one also!!;) I hope Bill is not toying with us!!:D
I like the Olive fork the best!! For plucking pickled Onions and Olives, (etc.) it looks perfect!! And, my Beard is at the point where it needs a little raking now and then!!:D:D
My Grandson calls me Dumbledore, I might need one too! :p
Thou this is not the first attempt, remember :

Heck I'll never us the darned thing, but I sure want one.
It never made sense to me to have a fork and a knife that don't separate.
When I cut my meat with my knife, I'd already have a fork in the other hand.
And I keep my beard tightly trimmed with no need to comb stuff out of it.
But like I said, I must have one of these for collector and conversation value.
Having one arm , I learned to cut meat without the fork. Bear down hard and rock the blade. It cuts the meat every time. I will stab the meat and stick the blade in my mouth. That fork will be great for stabbing small sausages. This is a fun gimmick knife. I am crazy about GEC Autumn Leaf jigged bone and the shield is cool with out the word ,"KNIFE"" on it. I am in for one. "pre-ordered"

As usual, I'll probably go with Rough Rider's dog groomer knife rather than this putative GEC abomination.
(I like the tool selection, but it's a HUGE mistake not to have put them in a lady leg frame.)

If I were to change anything about it I’d probably make the fork tines thinner maybe change the entirety of the fork design and replace the comb with a dedicated cap lifter or delete it, or go blade/caplifter like I think a lot of people would love to see again (I also assume you’d have more wanting 2 tools over 3 I know I would personally), it doesn’t really have anything to do with bar tools (bar tools are like a long spoon, muddler, and maybe a zester if you’re in an upscale bar. I really like the guys and gals at gec though and their creativity
