.38 Special!!

Protos of the new "Lick Creek Farmer Jack":

Day-yuuum! They are goood lookin'! Thanks, Lyle, for allowing me to post this photo.

Comin' soon to participating distributors! :D:D:D

Woohoo, purdy knife ya got there Barry!!! Thanks for making this one possible Lyle!!!

Too sweeeeet! Sure hoping to track one of these down. Nice job Lyle & Barry, something to be proud of right there

Wow - these 38's are a lovely looking knife.

I didn't think I was going to need one of these, but the variety of blades and scales, wow. GEC is really knocking it out of the park! I can't decide between the inverted beaver, the blood red jig, or Charlie's ebony:confused:

My two favorites so far are the one Barry just posted of Lyle's, Lick Creek and the American Whittler with the federal shield. Course I haven't seen Charlie's yet. ;) Yours turned out beautiful, Lyle!

...And then I see Charlie's crazy-awesome jigging on the GEC site, in cranberry bone, and I'm even more confused. With rat-tailed bolsters, no less!

That Lick-Creek has got me licking my chops!! Smooth Bone is exquisite, a Gentleman Farmer:cool:

Here's my Tidioute Green Bone Whittler version which pleases me immensely, what a promising frame, tidy construction and finish too.

Thanks, Will.

I'm having trouble with the length of the shield.....a little too long for me. The blade etch is beautiful....knocked it right out of the park.

So I got an antique yellow Lick Creek on order, These pictures have me total stoked. The pick bone looks awsome on the cranberry, The diamond sheilds oober classy, the handle materials on the Lick creek and the etching beautiful!!! Good job all!

I see KSF has a #38 half whittler SFO on the GEC production schedule. Could be yet another interesting version on this new frame. Clip/sheep combo perhaps?

Barry, that etch looks fantastic--I can't wait to learn more about the connection to Lick Creek. There's such a great history to all of Charlie's and Lyle's SFOs. That Lick Creek etch is going to be a stand-out classic for sure!!

Wow I love the shield on the lick creek. Very happy I put my name on one in smooth ivory bone.

The Tidioute version in Maroon Linen Micarta is fantastic. I can't wait to get my hands on the SFOs!!

I think those SFOs look fantastic but I really like the simple, elegant lines of this version. There is a functional beauty to it that appeals to me a lot. I doubt there will be any available by payday, but I've already had my quota for this month.

A lovely piece.
