mine is JUST getting finished...very custom AD10 3.4" .2 thick m390, bearings, bolstered. I got on his list in 2011....yes, really. his wait is probably around 3 years now or more. Great guy, amazing knives - but if you don't buy a 4-max you can wait for a while to get a custom. There's also a custom 4-max on a knife site right now for 2k...

it seems the XHP models would drop 10% in retail price a few month after it's release, I wonder if we're going to see the 4-Max around $300-$320 post release.

I don't have a release date for that knife. As I said before, I'll post more when I know more.

I agree! I was SOO excited to check this knife out. I used to get mad at ZT for their long to market teaser pics, but this knife has set a new standard of frustration.
