500th Post Giveaway

Ahhhh so it's an exciting race, but I picked the wrong rider for the stage!

The guy I picked, Mark Cavendish, is the best sprinter in the world right now...most of the time, Tours end with a sprint stage, and the Tour of California broke tradition a little bit this year and are ending with more of an "epic" stage.

So the people who put Leipheimer, Zabriskie, Armstrong, Sevilla, Voigt, Rogers.....good picks!

Thomas, I remember you saying a while back that you were a runner. Next contest: predict Thomas's finishing time for the Portland marathon. :D

I made a good pick I guess, I just thought he had a cool name and he was in the top 5. Beginners luck? :D
 
I picked the guy that was currently leading, figuring he had a good chance to keep winning. However, I really blew it with the time. I mean, what are the odds he can put a full minute and a half on the rest of the field? I was thinking total lead time, not stage time. Oh well!

I picked an unrealistic time, unless rider #2 falls and wipes out the pack :D

But I'm not saying nothing... when I asked Jr. to do that in the Nascar contest, he wrecked out and took everyone with him lol :D
 
BTW, the winner of Stage 8 is who we are looking for, not the winner of the total Tour.
 
The times you see next to Leipheimer and Zabriskie are totals for the last 8 days of racing and the difference behind the fastest time for those in 2nd, 3rd, etc.
 
As soon as they post the finish results I'll know who the winner for today's race pick is.
 
The person that picked the rider with the highest finish, since no one picked the winner. I think I know who, but will wait for the official list to make my pick.
