940-1501 KW Exclusive

What a fabulous knife. KSF is a pleasure to deal with, and KSF & Benchmade knocked this one out of the park.👍

Glad you got it and are diggin' it, Krav. Derrick and BM sure did do a helluva job with this one. Hard to pick a favorite, but that CF Stryker is right up there with way more expensive knives--sharpest, closest-to-perfect BM I ever saw. Here's another shot from up at camp with what's now my wife's Axis Mini-Stryker EDC--the knife that helped steer me toward it's big brother.

Awesome Steve!! I have become obsessed with large and small BMs in the same model!! Wish BM made a CF mini Stryker!
Couple of my 'pairs'!!
My 586, awesome smaller blade, is getting a change of clothes by S Ketchen as we speak!!

If you're on the fence about this one......don't hesitate!! Excellent blade for $199......$20 less it's even better!!

Well, that's a steal, Krav! The KW sale price is already a great deal.

Handle is nice enough, steel is excellent--now if they'd just offer it in the 943 blade shape….

I like big/little pairs, too, Joe. (Does that sound dirty?) Got Manixes, Millie & Paras, Delica/Endura, Barrages, Strykers, Sebenzas, Bucks….

Here's a favorite pair--my original 710 and little brother 705. The 710 was, IIRC, my first BM which I've dubbed my "rescue knife". Like a puppy from the pound, my purchase saved it from a neglectful owner who'd allowed it's blade to become pitted and discolored, filled it with grime, sharpened it poorly, and hacked at the back-spacer. I've brought it back a long way and like to keep it original save for replacing the backspacer with standoffs.

The 705 was introduced in 1999 and discontinued in 2004 to be replaced by the Sequel. Mine is a serrated pre-production 320/1000. I'd love to find one just like it, but un-marked with a plain blade to match the big guy. There were a lot of versions of it including aluminum handles with wood inlays and even a fake CF model that was actually G10. Kinda hard to find any out there for sale.

Great pair right there!! I love my 705. For a small knife it fills your hand really well! So does the 586!

Damn!!! I'm one pair short Steve!! The 586 isn't done yet!! But I'll make due!!

One that I haven't seen mentioned is the REI 531 with green g-10 scales. I don't care much for the color, but figured I'd throw it out there as an option anyway. There were also a few Cabelas exclusives that you can check for, not sure if they're still available or not.

That's not a bad little knife. I picked one up a while ago on the Exchange LNIB. REI ships them free for $155. I'm kinda neutral on the color, which, after all, IS kinda neutral, but the knife is wicked light, wicked thin, and just disappears in the pocket. Nice high grind, S30V steel unlike the regular 531's 154CM. Economical choice.
