Haven't carried it much, Joe, but who can carry much of anything with all the blades we keep buying? I just ran out to pick up some Fish&Chips and clipped it in my pocket on the way out. It carries very small for a 3 1/4" blade at 2.1 oz and 3/8" thick. Good one to drop in the bottom of your pocket or clipped in slacks or light shorts.

Not exactly a gentleman's carry as it's not real dressy. It would make a good 2nd carry instead of a traditional or small SAK, though. Got mine LNIB for a buck-twenty so I figured why not. Pretty robust blade for such a light thin handle.

Apostle P's got a very favorable vid on it.
 
I saw that vid bro! I have a 530.....well I had one for a few minutes....until my son saw it!! He works in an office and it's perfect for him!
 
That 530 is a weird knife with that fake dagger grind. The 531 (even the stock one) should be a much better slicer with the high, flat grind.
 
The 531 is almost an awesome EDC but the flared rear of handle on the top digs into my palm. They chose symmetry at the cost of comfort. That knife is so thin and light!

Yeah, they were definitely going for style on that one--form over function. The original 530 was kind of a fake dagger with its blade grind and coffin-style handle.

Looking at the 531, with its lack of full liners, it wouldn't be hard to re-shape the end of the handle to fit your hand better. Maybe you know a Knifemaker/Craftsman/Service Provider who could take care of that for you… ;)

…little tight sweeping by the clip, though.

I want this knife so bad it's killing me but I just bought a Chaparral and I need a better sharpening system.
 
Hmmm...was planning to buy it later when it will be on sale like this again (spent $$$ on Hinderer and Reate lately). Maybe I should just pick one up now?

I don't think it'll be sold any less than $179.95 shipped. However, at some point they'll be all gone and it'll almost assuredly cost you more to get one.
 
Well, I thought I was fine, having already bought something I really wanted this weekend off the Benchmade forum (Corey's 805TSEK). Even felt strong enough to go over to the KW site to look at their exclusives for sale figuring I pretty much had all my bases covered.

There it was--Ritter MiniGrip M390 on sale--but I figured I was still safe as I won't buy a Grip without a plan to replace the scales. My large Ritter has Wilkins coarse black G10's with blood-red backspacer, I'd want to match it, and you can't get anything out of Kevin that's not in stock, so confidently I go over to his site just KNOWING they won't be there. You guessed it--there they are!

I'm gritting my teeth and trying to resist, 'cause, after all, it's only 20 bucks off, but now it's in my head. You GD, shameless enablers! I hate you all! I think I should take my computer down to the beach and throw it in the bay.
