A Can of Camillus

Great idea for a thread, Gev. Many of my favorite knives were made by Camillus. I wish I’d gotten into knives before they shut their doors. :(

As for a photo, how about one of opening a can with a Camillus? :D

'Twasn't hard, Charlie: it was a 12 oz can pouring into a pint glass. :D

This knife, though, does put in a lot of hard work:

If I whittled it, chances are that this knife put in at least some of the effort. It's a Camillus 72 in BSA livery and is my go-to whittling knife. It also makes a great EDC. They got this pattern so right.

1979 MIL-K.
I was given one of these by our supply sergeant some time in the late 70s but gave it away and I like to think this one I picked up off the exchange could maybe, possibly, perhaps, be the one I gave away so long ago.:rolleyes:
