nate, it wont matter to a mall ninja. all they care about is the neat looking (:barf:) pink stuff stuck on the handle that has mall ninja wrote all over it ;):D

Why do you guys keep forgetting the ZR Rated Tire Rubber? I mean, come on, it's ZR Rated Tire Rubber!

ZR rated tyres just means they are good for 150 mph, you also get W & Y ZR tyres for up to about 185 mph.

This is a speed rating so only means anything on an actual tyre fittet to an actual car, it means chuff all at all on a knife handle.
Just more nonsense from the shill seekers...... I mean thrill seekers knife company

Sorry Haze, I forgot to use the appropriate smiley to denote sarcasm. :D

But come on, man! It's ZR Rated Tire Rubber! :D:D

And i will NOT reply to any posts regarding this. I'm done. That's all i got to say 'bout that.

TDK

Of course, this is the classic stance from one who puts forth a weak and uninformed argument, and lacks the courage and knowledge to debate or defend it.

I found the store.
...if you're interested. I'm not.

The fact that a 27 year old entrepreneur can't seem to spell competition or it's variants is disturbing

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Every Mantis knife is limited production, the value will only go up

That is pretty humorous as well

I like how their descriptions point out:

the Post-Modern look of these knives is very original

Shouldn't that read post mortem ?

In time , they will go the way of some other not so grand indeas...

I'm even younger than him, not like I can talk, but wouldn't a young hotshot also try...NEW designs that break the mold? These are flea market designs done up with the Cobra-Commander paint job, which might explain the younger Militia members. Kids don't know knives, they know magazine ad hype and how it looks.

You know folks its only a knife . I also have to say you guys really gave him a reaming . Some of the references were a little overboard , I am sure some of you realise that . Instead of riding him like a tick , go buy one of his blades and find out for yourself.

How many of you folks actually own one of his blades ??? Not nearly as many who posted I would bet. I have one of his principles in CM 154

I think its a pretty fair blade for the money . I am 64 years old and have been forging blades since I was 17 . If you can read

Japanese . here are some words of wisdom. 水に流す mizu ni nagasu . I never met the maker , and I dont even know him . I know this post is an old one , I just had to say something. peace

respectfully ........ Bubba-san

Yeah. We gave him the business after he lied to us and spammed us.

He didn't learn any lessons from it, except that he does not organize mass spamming sessions anymore. He still lies about what alloys are in his knives, though. So, No, I am unlikely to ever waste my money on his knives.

Thats too bad he acted immaturily, lying is wrong no matter what the reason ,I agree. He seems like a talented maker . I say stone him , but let the person who has never told a lie , caste the first stone . I never apologise for anything , seems like its a magnet for trouble

Whether it's scriptural or not, I differentiate between the lies which are actually hurtful and the lesser lies that are told for other purposes. I categorize lies told to gain monetary advantage to be hurtful.

I'm going to assume the lies you have told, you have not told to gain monetary advantage or to otherwise hurt someone.
I know I have not lied to gain monetary advantage or purposefully hurt someone in my 58 years on the planet. It is not in me to do so.

When a man lies about the materials in his knife, he lies to gain monetary advantage. Jared has consistently misrepresented his blade materials. To me that is inexcusable, especially since he has continued to do so.

Your logic is flawed , all lies hurt someone . Maybe Jared learned a lesson or two ? I am going to have one of his principle knives essentially essayed . There is an old addage ( Japanese) "even a bad swordsmith makes a good blade now and then " His major problem is immaturity
he also seems pretty ego testicle. whoa.
