Color me crazy, but I have no desire to give my business to a man who lies about his products.

I imagine he does not lie about every knife he has made to his specs. But, why would I take a chance as to which ones are as advertised, when I can go to a reputable company and be 100% sure every time that I am getting what I paid for? Aside from that I've never seen one of his designs that I would want to carry.

If you are going to get one assayed for composition, use one of his new designs that he has advertised as being 440V. That should be enlightening, since the alloy has been out of production for some years now.
 
And excuse me if I differentiate between telling Aunt Suzie that her orange and chartreuse shoes don't look weird with her dress, and telling someone that the product I have sold them meets spec, when in fact it does not. In my line of work you can go to jail if you do that.
 
Ridiculous. Resurrecting a dead thread is bad enough, but coming across as another one of the Mantis minions is unacceptable. This thread is closed.
