Just got a WE Knives 606, blurple ano with Cf inlay. This thing is amazing. A gorgeous piece of art and functions as beautifully as many of my favorite flippers. There are vids popping up on Youtube about this new model. But having it in hand, feeling the action, the perfect detent strength (subjective, I know), ceramic MRBS & detent ball, the amazing S35VN blade grind (look at that secondary bevel!). I can only imagine that this one is going to make some makers of $500 to $1000 production & mid tech knives start to sweat profusely. The Chinese competition is here and is only getting better. I think they should consider changing their name from WE to WOW!

Added a couple of pics for size perspective. LOVE the size & weight of this 606 at 3.6 oz. Just a little bigger & heftier than the BM 940 at 2.8 oz.

Wow that's beautiful. I recently purchased a BM 710-1401 that has exceeded my expectations.

The 908bk-1501. I like smaller lighter blades in the 2-3oz range for EDC and wasn't sure how I would like the beefiness of the 908. After getting it in my hands I couldn't be more satisfied. This is easily my favorite 3.5" blade that Iv ever owned. Its built very solid and only weights a little over 4 oz. Paired with a cpm-m4 blade you can tell its made to take a lot of abuse. Think Ill have to order 1 or 2 more.

I think before I finish out my perfect assortment of knives and stop buying them, I have to pick up one of the Chinese production knives. I keep hearing such great things about them from people. Just don't know which brand to choose.

ESEE Junglas did that for me. It was my first "expensive" knife purchase. Little did I know that it was going to be the knife that I would use 95% of the time for the next 4 years outdoors.

For a folder I would have to go with the ZT0456. This knife blew me away because the more I used it the more I was amazed how great the design is and the edge holding ability.

For a fixed blade I have to go with the Fiddleback Forge Production Duke. I have yet to find a reasonable task for my Duke that it does not excel at.

This Case Sodbuster Jr. was way better than I expected:

Everything about it is pretty much perfect: smooth action, strong spring, no blade play, perfect centering, shaving sharp out of the box, comfortable and attractive burnt jigged bone scales, attractive polished brass liners, no sharp edges (except the blade edge, of course) or burrs anywhere.

I haven't had a Case since I was in middle school, and for the past few years I hadn't given the company much thought, instead keeping an eye on Northwoods, GEC, Canal Street, etc. But Case definitely deserves recognition.

My US made Kershaw Zing. Not in the same class as the knives above but much better than expected. The basic design and ergonomics of this knife are excellent.

Shame Kershaw reworked the knife and made it into a piece of overseas garbage.

2 knives I recently got thanks to BF forums:
An Austin Goldman utility and a Les George VECP.
In both cases, considering the amount spent, I'm like "Wow that's a lot of knife for the money” when I'm fondling them :)

Joe, A WE 603A popped up on the exchange today and I grabbed it. Hopefully I'll have it by the end of this week. After my experience with the 606...I can't wait for that 603A to arrive!
