Thanks for the tool suggestions everyone!

I will be going and looking at some tools later today prolly... Well depends on what time I get done with a few chores... But if not today... Tomorrow.

Going to be doing a little wood working for fun.. Some intarsia ... Gunna learn what I can from pops... He got skills.. I could integrate some of that into some knife handles later too... Really I just want to fiddle with some wood for a bit before I get back to filing on steel LMAO

Mauser, no worries... that was just me.... Making my weekly pickup :D

Nos and his sheep, and WW with his playing with wood: this snark has taken a turn :D

here I am still stuck on that 'Venus for men' lol

went to a gun show today - saw .22lr for as little as $35/brick, which I considered a fair enough price to buy one.

The academy here recently has had alot of 22lr, they got a while pallet in yesterday, so much that they didn't even have a box limit when we went in

I've spent the last few days getting a crash course in hostage/crisis/terrorist negotiation. I've about reached my limit for learning about scary and awful for the week. Been fascinating though.

Been texting back and forth all day with a guy who became a hostage negotiator back when that job first came into existence. Man, that guy's got some stories.

Any stories with knives in them?

I'm guessing he does, but probably not the kind we want to spread.

In other news, I just got a Candiru (since the 11/14/24 are too long for local open carry laws). Nifty, but the jury is still out. I'll take her to task tomorrow if the weather cools off a bit.

I feel bad for you guys and your State laws. I know every State is different... but in all of Canada you can carry whatever you want, when ever you want (except for push daggers or automatics) as long as it is not concealed. The only thing you need to do is provide an explanation for your carry if an officer asks you about it. :D

The little one likes climbing a lot. And she's good at it. Lots of tenacity and fearlessness.

As such, I got her this...

And I'm shopping for these:

It does not pay being a gearhead when you have kids. I just bought the older one an Easton S1 composite bat for baseball.

We always just shrug and say "Hey, it's GEAR". That justifies any purchase. :D

Good looking harness. I'll bet she's a beast on the climbing wall.
