WW, table saw. First tool in the wood shop. You can crosscut, rip, miter, cut dadoes, make molding, add accessories, on and on. :thumbup:
 
one of the nice things about a table saw - when you're not using it to cut things, it makes a good assembly table.
 
Good stuff!! I also want a router before long. With the table saw and router i could prolly make up some nice family picture frames... Maybe out of some of this buckeye burl i have sitting around.

My knife buying will be taking a back seat for a while... I want MOAR TOOLS :D

I use a Rikon 305 benchtop bandsaw ALL the time, but for ripping FLAT and STRAIGHT, there's no substitute for a table saw. Especially for handle material for wood. But the blades are a bit thick for splitting micarta - you'll sacrifice a lot of material.
 
Ok, just broke down and ordered three different beard waxes/balms. Hoping they help tame this coarse beard.

LA Hipsters ... :thumbdn: They're all over the place trying to one-up each other.
Dallas Hipsters ... Much better. I've seen some with authentic-looking late 1800s cowboy get-ups. Dug their attention to detail. ...Or maybe they were just in a play. I have no idea.
 
Got a new knife last night.



My grandpa gave it to me, it was made by one of his friends from an old volkswagon spring. It was the knife he always carried while hunting, and will be the one I carry from now on

LOL! You should have seen our old neighbourhood. Anguished hipsters everywhere trying to make sure they were on trend.
I'm way too old for that. I just got tired of shaving!

Of course to take full advantage of a table saw, you need to build a table around it for bigger stuff. But you're not going to be cutting full sheets of plywood anytime soon anyway.

And don't forget to get a PB cookie dough blizzard. So awesome.
 
I was bored and playing around and I found out that it is not possible to put a mod on the ignore list. Interesting.

No, and you don't have to read them either. If you see a post with the crocheted okto-knife thingy at the top, just skip it.
Personally, I think they're really good for one's cryptography skills.
