WOW! You really got to be careful around here.:) You can give a Negative without a deal?? I have seen sale threads where the seller states... They maintain the right too refuse a sell to anyone without a reason given. I think a new person needs a lot of time to figure all this out....... myself included...Of course :confused:
 
No reason for negative feedback...you win some you lose some...there just knives.

Some of you guys make a big deal out of paypal fee's...you want a fat deal and the seller to eat the fee's and shipping.....if you don't like the way some deal on the forums you can always buy from a on line store and pay taxes where applicable, shipping, etc.

Some are so avid about quoting the PP rules but multitudes complain about ebay.

I have had people say I'll take it in a thread or pm and not received payment for days if at all...it works both ways.
 
In KH,s defence, he thought i lied about the SAR-3 sheath, i do not know the maker, of the leather sheath. When i PM'ed him i said i had a kydex sheath for each of the knives, that i made. So i was just going to ship the knives in kydex, and send the leather also. i think there was a mix up there, because i did not mention the kydex in the ad. Anyway he took it i was lying , because i had made the kydex. No idea who made the leather.

Obvious i was not making any money on this deal $500, for a brand new BWM, and a new SAR-3, so i was looking to split the PP fee's.

I guess my bad, hey not the first mistake , or last i will make.

See, that's cool, you should just have been like to him. I know Trevor and he is actually a cool guy if you get to know him. Everyone hates me too but some that actually get to know me or email/talk to me, is just fine with me.
 
You screwed up by not allowing KH sufficient time to respond. I would not have been very pleased either, but would have moved on.

Maybe a simple phone call explaining things to KH could have prevented the negative feedback?

Frankly it speaks to IQ and also to ethics when a seller is worried over $4 on a $150 knife. I see the type who penalize PayPal buyers as a red flag honestly.

Either price it to cover it or don't accept it as a means for payment. Simple.

At this point the person that should be mad is Liu Kang, he also wanted it, i said he'd be next in line. Liu Kang, you have my deepest respect, and am sorry i did not honor, my words.

In my ad i did not say first to respond gets it, i did leave it pritty wide open, my fault.

I did sell it to someone i thought could not offord it at other peoples prices, i new my sale price was low, i did it that way because, i wanted someone to get a good deal.

I'm sure i'll get a lot of flack, but i'm human, i make mistakes, i do not live in China, or any other communist country, i can and will sell to who ever i comfirm a sale with. This sale was not comfirmed with the one who called me dishonest.

What ever happens with this thread, i hope the Mods will leave it open, i know i am leaving myself open to criticism, i screwed up in some ways, but did not commit a crime. And hope the guy who gets the knives really enjoys them. Maybe we can all learn from this, i know i did.

Let me see if I can clear a few things up....

First off, although some would like to imply that I left negative feedback over me getting upset, or lashing out in haste cause I didnt get my way. Well, its simply not true, and not what occurred.

If you look here I took the time did a time line to make things a little clearer for everyone. Including myself.

12/2 Thursday night

10:09pm LW8--- opens thread

10:16 KH----says I take with clarity

10:19 KH ---pms LW8 to again confirm 2nd I take it and to clarify the deal make certain it was what he wanted to do.

11:00 LW8----pms me . Wants to add paypal now, and is off to bed. No rush for payment. No desire to close.

11:05pm LW8 post in his thread....off to bed


12/03 Friday Morning--a work/school day mind you

8:41am LW8 pms me " Is this a yes or no replying to my 10:19 PM pm where I had again repeated my desire to purchase his BWM and Sar three for 500 paypal. What didnt you understand? It was the 2nd time I said yes, and stated my intention to buy.

11:08am KH sends pm to LW8-- 3rd affirmation of intent to purchase, and that I just got up online.

11:23am LW8 sends pm --I am real sorry. I didnt hear back and they are gone. Then the bell ringer....you said, "IF I need to leave you negative feedback you would understand." So, you didn't give me the 1 hr 27 minutes from 8:41 to my third affirmation at 11:08am same day????


11:31 am KH pms three words----"Are you serious?" Nothing more.

11:35am KH post in sales thread...You sold em....next time stand by your offer. No flipping out ...no negative feedback

11:41am...LW8 pms me to say all he can say is yes.

11:48 LW8 post in his thread he was sorry and needed money....so, why didnt he want to close it with me first night??

2:12 pm LW8 dismisses folks questioning him and locks his thread.

8:52 am LW8 sends pm to me to sell me on the fact that what he did was right---WHy I dont know. You should have just left it, and me alone.

Now, I had no intention of doing anything til I started getting pms from folks I didnt even know telling me how crappy what you did was, that everyone I spoke to about the incident said leave you negative feedback. I told them all it wasnt worth it, but now you have to not only (IMO) screw me. No, now you wanted to let me know that you were just in doing so too:rolleyes:

9:46am KH replies to LW8---giving him my opinion. Heaven forbid I disagree with you,and Told him directly that he was dishonest over the sheath. THat it was listed that he didnt know who made it, but tells me in pm that he was the maker....never a reply til now about it.

I told him that he was dishonorable, that he sold himself, and I hope it was worth it.

cause after seeing his sells pitch on why he was justified in selling it to someone else. See, thats when I went to his thread saw that he locked it. I also saw all the comments from others.




I have done enough transactions to know this didnt pass the smell test. Not then, and not now.

So, after reflecting on all the comments that I received, including your own pm telling me to leave you negative feedback, along with your stance, and attitude that you cut me out with less than 1hr and 27 minute warning, but that you didnt even give it to the next person in line either.:rolleyes:


See, I have let people slide cause I am always the nice guy and then I find they subsequently screw someone else later. SO, I decided to err on the side of caution for the community. Also, I dont see you as a newbie. Atleast cant take that for granted. You have been around here for almost two years....either not participating or laying in the shadows. WHo's to say?

It will surely prove your position, or mine but I highly doubt you will do this. I for one think you should be reprimanded by the moderators, and the community at large if you dont. I think the slithering low life that bought them out from under everyone else should be banned. The type of person that would do this would just as soon email a buyer from anothers sales thread and tell them they have the same knife for a couple bucks less. Either one has no business on this site. YMMV

Now, to address the itrader questions of why....Go to Sparks rules on exchange. It says all feedback will be left on either GBU or itrader. It doesnt give any other specifics.

Also, feedback is a person opinion/interpretation of what occurred in their transaction with another person. Well, this is just that. My opnion of what occurred. I was limited to word count and so I made em count. Words have meanings. Each one I chose about you was correct and accurate in its use.

You were dishonest about sheath. You didnt honor your listing or anyone's I take it, and you definitely screwed all the folks that said I will take it.

Until, feedback has to be given after taking a poll before its left then I am entitled to my opinion like everyone else. Its the reason feedback is for use.

Its to raise a red flag to the community about an individuals behavior so that they can make an educated decision as how they wish to deal, or not deal with someone.

You intentionally or not have made a practice off of trying to make yourself look good at my expense lately......., But I am stunned at your post.

You know you never have a problem calling me to get a knife that you need, at cost I might add, to help you complete a sale...

but you didnt have the decency to pick up the phone and call me to say that you think I might have made a mistake in this case after speaking to your new friend "liteweight".:confused:

+1. Had a similar situation happen to me last week, not cool. Im curious to know if its an established member or a new one. Either way Im very eager to add them to my ignore list.

I am not mad and wasnt when it occurred. Honestly, there was a little of me that was a happy that you got more money. I really didnt hold it against you til you wouldnt leave it alone. Just kept pushing your BS at me and trying to get me to swallow it.

At the same time dont hold it against me cause I do what most do here and thats stalk the forum at times for a good deal. THats exactly what I did.

I tried numerous times to make sure you were sure of what you were doing. I wasnt trying to take advantage, but after multiple attempts I'll be damned if I was going to pass up a free 237 +15 shipped sar 3.

I see again that no good deed goes unpunished, and I just feel for the next person that needs some quick cash on the Busse exchange cause I will think long and hard before turning loose of any. Its not like I needed to invest in sar 3's or BWM's----two models that I already have 20+ of each.:rolleyes:

What an egomaniac.

At the end of the day the SELLER ultimately decides who they are going to sell the knife to, whether that's the first person in line, the highest bidder, a forum friend, or the lunatic who frequently gets his panties in a wad.

Let's stop pretending that you're protecting the community or that there are "others who might not speak up here" who want to know who the knife was sold to and for how much.

You thought you'd make a buck flipping the knife and it burns you up that it was sold to someone else, that's the sting of greed.

The fact that you think the seller should be reprimanded and the buyer banned is absurd.
 
Accepting bids thru PM after a stated selling price is against Bladeforum rules.
Did the seller accept a higher offer than what he listed it as?
My suspicions point to that. A lesson for the seller if it was the case. (lesson hopefully learned)

I think KH had every right to be pissed off. Chances are, had the seller actually sold him the knives, he might have helped out in part or in whole, with the fee's regardless of being asked. I'm sure that's not the norm with him but if your down on your luck and selling off blades, he's the kind of guy that surprises you.
Ask me how I know this?
