T's alright in my book too. He's taken care of me on knife deals numerous times. He goes beyond the call of duty. All a mans got is his word if you don't have that you've got nothing.

If KH had answered my PM that night, when we were discussing, this, there would be no problem, but i PMed him in the morning Around 8:30, i sold the knives at 11:00. So he egnored me for 11 1/2 hours. He should have answered me that night when he was trying to by the knives. Knives sold for asking price.

It's a shame someone can discredit me, because he screwed up!

I will block KH today, just thought he should have his say.

I don't know any of the parties involved, but after a careful reading of this thread, IMO litew8 is, at best, ethically challenged, and I wouldn't do business with him.

You are the one that brought this to light, so IMO this is not KH discrediting you, but you asking for opinion and not getting the opinion that you wanted.

If you do not have the patience to wait a few hours for a response then you have already proven yourself here in the forum.

Ok, he knows he mess up and admits it. Look at his post count, you know he is new, let's cut him a break. He didn't do it cause he liked one guy more, he didn't do it to make a ton of money, he just did what he thought was right.
As for as Trevor leaving him negative feedback, that's partial my fault. Trevor told me what message litew8 sent him afterward and it was rude stating if he didn't like it to leave him positive feedback. So I said if he asks for it, give it to him.
But since then, I think he realizes he didn't do the right thing and has admitted it. Let's let this one go.

yea i opened this because i was called dishonest and a lier, on a public form, i am not either. i new i was in for a lashing from some, when starting this thread, i think i have handled myself in a calm way.

this is my last post, i have learned, and maybe others have, from this thread. KH is a pro, i am a newbe, and maybe acted as such. But that does not mean i am dishonest and a lier. Take for what its worth, wish i was a better writer, but that i'm not.

Hope everyone gets the knife they want for Xmas.

Assuming that since you've not posted any disagreement to KH's timeline post and that it is accurate, this post is rather unfair...

1.) Some of us spend a lot of time on here, but no one lives here... KH has a family, a job and a life outside this forum just like we all do. You went to bed, so it's reasonable to assume that he did too, yes? Subtract 8 hours. Add the fact that family or job obligations may have held him up until almost noon before being able to respond...

2. You changed the deal as stated in your thread. He agreed to the original terms, then you wanted more to cover some or all of PP fees. The least that you could have done is allow him a few extra hours the following day to consider this, whether the knives were a deal at the price requested or not.

Let's not point fingers at who screwed up unless you willing to point to yourself first. Again, it's your sale, your knives...but seriously? Saying that he screwed up when he repeatedly stated his intent to buy based on the terms and conditions you set forth in your thread, and was ready to pay right then until you changed the terms in a PM is not screwing up. 11.5 hours, when most of this time ticked by while you both went offline and slept, is not an unreasonable amount of time in a knife transaction between 2 members.

I've dealt with KH before as both a Seller and a Buyer, and every deal with him has been flawless.

If you want a honest opinion without judgement, I will give you mine. At first read, I thought you were trying to do something nice for someone, and hope that was the case. The notion that you could get feedback when you have not done a deal, did not seem right too me however, after reading all the correspondence, there seems to be ample communication that KH wanted the deal, not to mention the other buyer. This led me to understand why negative feedback could be given in this situation. One can't help but think, you did not want KH to get the knives and you wanted to help someone else get them. If that were the case, you should have told KH up front that's what you had in mind. I may have it wrong, it just seems that way from your original post. I can certainly see where KH would be upset, I would be also, too be honest.

OK i opened this, for feed back, knowing it would not be all positive. I did not read KH post, and will not, sorry this whole thing has up set me, i try my best to do the right thing to avoid things like this. Seems like i could have handled thing differently, ok basically i screwed up, it would seem the popular opinion is. I'll take it as such. I apolgize to KH, can't change what happened. Maybe this thread will die, i accept the negative feedback, and lesson learned. my mind is still a little screwed up over this, but i have to accept, most seem i messed up.
