Well finally got the parts in and got my Sig P220 back together with Slim grips and an SRT kit. Fit the synthetic fore end on the H&R 12 and I'll drop it off next week to have the barrel shortened and a bead put on. My next project will probably be the Marlin 336w I picked up yesterday which won't involve much. Then I guess I'll just go down the line one by one and getting all my guns where I want them. At least the one's I've made my mind up on anyway.

some of you idjits have those carbides that murph brought at the gathering?

make a little jig, with a V slot to hold the carbide such that a 90 degree edge is UP. mount that onto something to keep it from shifting much, eh?

ro ro ro tate your owl, er, bottle, and score a nice clean line

now, get your candle, and a bucket of snow/water

PUT ON SOME FRAKKING GLOVES MEAT SACK

also safety glasses

hand your beer to someone (hold this)

make with the cold

much more accurate than "string"

string is for "the wild" and emergencies, it's not precision, eh?

:D

Wouldnt be foldable, but has anyone ever just cut a hole in the side of a charcoal starter to make something somewhat like the emberlit. Also, how would the emberlit work with charcoal?

The stainless one works great with charcoal. Can't imagine why the ti version wouldn't either.

wet sanding with silicon carbide...
Though heat will also do it. Chuck the other end into a vice and warm up the edge with a torch until it gets a little melty.

Makes sense... thank you :)

We pretty much all agree that a LA deer-rifle is a must-have. It's the original assault rifle, when you think about it...

Am I the only one who thinks such a rifle should be dressed up with AAA-grade birdseye maple stocks? You gotta admit that would look freaking awesome... but that would cost almost as much as the gun itself... oh well, a man can dream...
