No no no no no. Add sea salt, and fresh cracked black pepper. Sugar is just silly. You can also add chili powder, cumin, things like that. But definitely fresh cracked black pepper.

Garlic salt is good too.

 The wife and daughter LOVE popcorn, me and my son not so much. but when i do eat popcorn i always use cracked black pepper and Lawry's salt. And then i drip hot sauce all over it..

Yea i seen this picture and if he is still available im getting this fella. Found a breeder about an hour away from where i live, they have some puppies available starting 5 days ago. But none of them say sold, and i dont know if they update the site regularly. But if they still have him... he is going to be mine. Sent a message to the landlord, told her to decide what the pet deposit is because i see a dog that if he aint sold yet he is about to be as soon as they answer my message.

If i get him i will probably do a contest to pick a name for the dog, best name (judged by the wife of course lol) will get a bk11 or something like that. I have been thinking of how to do my next contest/GAW and im not good at picking names for animals so this would be pretty cool.

But look how adorable this little guy is....

lock the wrist, move from the elbow and shoulder. Tune the stone angle so you don't run off the corner.
mutter "I'm gonna cut you..." under your breath every third stroke. (that's to keep people from interrupting your concentration)
I get them to cut OK, it's more that now my standards are much higher...and I don't generally live up to them. Too many pictures of polished blades...
What makes it salty if you just add sugar?
Um, salt. :D Add salt after you pour the popcorn into the bowl. It's still sticky, so salt adheres to it very well.
Beat me to it.
Thats the scariest movie i have seen in a while :D
I went to see the Banff Mountain Film Festival last night, and there was this movie called "Split of a Second". Guy in a squirrel suit jumping off a cliff in Europe somewhere. With another guy in a suit flying right behind him filming, guys on the ground filming as he was going in excess of a 100 mph about 10 ft. off the ground....dodging trees and rock formations...seems a quarter of the movies I've seen at that festival over the years (I've been going for about 15 years) make my sack just clench right up.

You do it your way, I'll do it mine. I personally prefer salt and salty type things (try Indian black salt for a change) but the kids (and I, on occasion) like it sweet & salty. Plus, food allergies mean no cheese. Which is unfortunate for me, because Romano (the good stuff made with sheep's milk) fits the bill for salty and cheesy....

Nyet! Differing opinions are not allowed!

For the record, the missus digs on the sweet & salty, just never been something I can get on board with. Here recently I've been killing this Northwest Alderwood Smoked Sea Salt I've gotten ahold of. Opening the bag it smells like you got punched in the face with a campfire, and the soot comes off on your fingers when you pinch some salt out. In one word, I would describe it as "Heavenly" and leave it at that. Everything it touches tastes like it was cooked over an open fire. Allegedly they also do peppercorns in a similar fashion, but I have yet to lay my hands on that. If one must insist on a sweet popcorn (blasphemy!!!) maybe try the cinnamon toast mix they sell, or sprinkle with Hershey's cocoa powder. SWMBO has commented favorably on those variations.

I call all of my cats "demandimals." Because it's quite a catophony during feeding time.

Almost done with my AR build.

In other world news, this just in: The famous DG four dollar saw has been improved () for 2014. The blade no longer has the hook thingee and it is even more solid feeling. Saws like a demon through hard maple too.

This saw is tradewater approved and you will not be disappointed. Best of all.......it's still four dollars.

Saw a post at BCUSA on it. My DG hasn't filled the shelves with garden stuff yet. Bastards.

Thanks for the tip...I've tried mixing in cinnamon, but not the cocoa powder. Regarding salt, we have here in town a little boutique called "the Salt Cellar". They carry every type of salt imaginable, even block salt cutting boards (unbelievable with slicing tomatoes and serving sushi) and and some other small items made from salt. Everything there is available for tasting and I have tasted some hickory smoked salt, as well as some ghost pepper salt, black hawaiian salt, truffle salt and a small variety of sea salt from around the globe. My 9 year old daughter loves the place as she is a wicked salt fiend, and she is always offering to take friends and family there for a tour. The Hungarian lady that owns the place just loves her; I think my daughter is one of her best on site promoters. It's fortunate that she's not old enough to work there; her motto with salt is "too much is never enough". Might put a dent in their profit margins.
