A Smoke Request for Myself

You guys rock. I'll know everything later today. I'll let you know.

Thanks,

Chris

Hey Chris...

When you are ready...

When you can...

Let us know how you are, and please, tell us if we can do anything.

Thank you.

I think what we ought to do, is later on open another thread as moments are reached. Otherwise, this thread might hit a 100 pages, not only hard to read but probably would give Spark headaches as his software groans.

We'll keep this thread, the, 'find out what is going on discovery thread'.

Nam is going into this with the support of his friends and family. And from all over the world, prayers from friends whose faces he doesn't know, but whose hearts he does.

You said it, Munk. The support from this place really means a lot. To know that I have prayers and thoughts from every populated continent is extremely encouraging. It really makes a person feel good inside.

I have an appointment in Houston on Monday, and then I'll know what I'm up against and how to beat it. At that time, I'll start another thread to cover the opening stages of this thing. I am really excited right now, because I have gotten in with literally the best sarcoma oncologist in the world. I can't wait to get started.

Chris

Chris,

Something to keep in mind--MD's are not the final word on things. I'm sure your oncologist will do right by you, but if not there are other options out there and many alternative therapies that can supplement the treatments you're recieving (to help your body stay strong and keep you in tip top fighting shape). Of course I would plug massage because of the stress relief possible from it--but I'm kind of biased;)

Prayers and best wishes continuing from here:thumbup: :)

More prayers for you Chris. I must commend your attitude, it goes a long way. I'll restate what everyone else has said. Feel free to contact me for anything at all buddy.

Well, I said I'd start a new thread today, but no new news. Need more tests. Go figure, I guess. Oh, well. This is a great hospital here in Houston, and I'm glad to be here and getting some progress. I'll start that new thread once I figure out what's going on.

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks Nam. Keep us in the loop and we'll blast the Cosmic Airways with Prayers, Smoke, chants, wishes, benedictions, and stern admonishments.

Thanks for the update Chris. I stole a chicken from next door and sacrificed it for ya. (JUST KIDDING. NO CHICKENS WERE HARMED IN THIS POST!) How's Houston? Nice and warm huh? Keep us posted.

hey man, if youre still in H-town at the beginning of May, feel free to shoot me an email if you need anything. btw, my mom is an oncology nurse at a hospital south of houston, so if you need any help I'm sure she wouldnt mind answering any questions or anything for ya. prayers and smoke daily.

Best of luck Chris and remember. You can believe the diagnosis but DON'T take the prognosis with a grain of salt. After all the prognosis is just a mathematical probability and we both know that you can prove almost anything with statistics.
