Drove from Corpus Christi to Fort Worth two weeks ago, taking the Bayside highway to Refugio, and 77 to Waco. Saw millions of Bluebonnets. And other wildflowers. Love this time of year!

Seemed like there was less walking and more visiting going on. Now your new knife is all covered

Seemed like there was less walking and more visiting going on.

No walking much today, except when absolutely nessesary and just out to the backyard to take the dog out.

We are being pelted by a freezing rain/ice pellets storm

"Esperanza" barely escaped, but she did my good girl

The last time we had a bad ice storm in this area, I was heading to the small woods across the street to walk our dog. Got to the edge of the woods and it sounded like a Fire Fight going on, with so many branches, cracking, breaking and falling to the ground, so we went home. John

My daughter’s piano teacher insisted on going ahead with the lesson today despite the conditions

In the short drive to her house we saw lots of fallen branches and tree limbs. A few traffic lights were not working either.

When we arrived power went off at the teacher’s home

As we got back home I looked in the backyard and realized what had happened.

I was SO RELIEVED that Esperanza is

Now it’s us without power and the house is getting a bit chilly
Got my winter jacket on lol

Glad Esperanza was spared and no one hurt
