Mine was a electric push bike in nature today,I did 12miles which is a lot for me (on muddy paths, dodging walkers, other cyclists and joggers not paying attention).
Tried out some new ebay bargain USA Merino socks made for winter golfers, excellent (I gave so many socks to the homeless I needed some more for myself).
Also started to get used to/break in new Lars Falt guide gloves.
Purchased after all the reviews I read, the only gloves no one has a bad word for.
Designed for Northern Scandinavian snowy woods, not wet English winters, ive done it again and lowered the brands purpose/standards.
Its simple a large over sized quality leather outer with a wool inner, you can use other liners so infinitely variable for different uses.
A bit bulky on a bike (controls) and they started to hurt after a bit so had to use my Alturas to get back,my hands where freezing on return.
The guide gloves will be excellent once broken in a bit,I got them on special offer as well.
I saw all sorts of wild life some real, some like Nessie maybe not real (or is it,ask a Scotsman).
I detoured a little to get a pizza slice and a flat white, they even gave me a knife so didn't need my SAK in my go pack.
There was a charity shop next door so I nipped in and bought a calendar,I have one from my Army corp but its a bit dull and rufty tufty, I like this one it will inspire me to go out more.
The Lake district is one of the wonders of the world.
The no mooring sign, you probably guessed it I wanted to change that to no morons (so many around).
There was graffiti about Boris as well, but I might get banned if I show you that one.
Very tired and cold but I enjoyed the ride and views.
