Photos A Walk in Nature

Is anybody else seeing red “X”s in place of pictures in this thread? It’s not all the pictures, and not always the same ones. I think both Johnny and I use postimages.org - I’m wondering if they are having issues.

I’m viewing this on my iPad, if that makes a difference.

I have been seeing this for about a week now, whether I am using my phone or PC. It even happened with the Guardians banner for a few hours :(

I’ve been getting them with Firefox on my laptop. I just checked and I also get them with Edge and Avast browsers on the same laptop.

At least clicking on the “X”s in your posts takes me to the linked image. When I click on my “X”s, it just says “oops, something went wrong”. Still better than hearing the pilot say that, I guess…

Remember the old Danny Kaye song? :D

Multi season walk today,it felt like winter one minute then spring the next.

Hail,sun,rain,chill wind,sun,rain,gale force wind.

The ground was very boggy and flooded in places.

Nature was at its best, its quite a job trying to work out what's going on its like a animal soap opera.

I had a beautiful Red Kite swooping overhead, then a massive Hare sped past me at 100mph with no one chasing it or it chasing anything.

All the geese seemed to be going crazy, one just kept making a racket.

I think they he was looking for his mate going by the way he was swimming all over the place looking lost.

I took my basic British knife,I have blended in the handle with the bolsters and smoothed it all over then added about 500 layers of oil. 😁

Its nothing special but I really like it.❤️

Nice Johnnythefox Johnnythefox  I'm still seeing red Xs.

Talk about multi-season. Yesterday afternoon here at 4 it was 54° F - this morning at 7- 15°F

Test

I just tried reloading post image same results.

Is it just my posts with X as I say its a new updated ipad.

This one is really good,he makes everything look so easy.

His knife handling skills with his Marttiini puukko are stunning as are his makers skills.

The snow is thick and hard going,.

The skill with which he uses a esbit stove on top of the snow (without melting it) and without hexamine is genius (its similar to the one I offered in a GAW and no one wanted}.

Very simple bow saw.

Best of all though is probably that amazing long log fire he made.

Nothing to spectacular today,I got a book out the library and found a new walk.

I shall be exploring some more new walk's.

Just photograph my map and print it off A4 size so I can read it easier.

A lovely sunny day.

Just the old Pill box ro remind us of days gone past when we would have had to do like the Ukrainians if circumstances had change.

Unexpected day off and it was 43° F so I could not resist a walk about - looking for antler sheds. The deep snow was a challenge to the task. :D No sheds but lots of in the woods exaltation.

Here is my bridge from earlier last summer. Still not accessible to the public - soon though...

2 days later - SNOW ALL GONE. Lots of rain and higher temps. Now I should go out for sheds. Stuck indoors though, until the weekend. :(
