Bringing this along this morning turned out to be an exercise in wishful thinking:

Whatever. It was a beautiful morning and the grilled chicken I made instead wasn’t too bad either…

I caught 3 pounds of Mackerel already smoked in lemon and pepper flavour to take home

And just as the clever owl in bigfish64 picture hiding in the foliage , my stag Grohmann #2 is trying to camouflage itself among the fish

We never get to see our owls, we just hear them all night long... Hide n Seek champions.

Around here they are out and even hunting during the day.
