I should have read this thread... I bought two and they are horrible. If anyone wants to check em out, DM me, I’ll mail one to you and you can see for yourself.
How bad are we talking? I was considering buying one but this thread is making me a bit hesitant.
 
I must have hit the jackpot with mine; purchased from a member on this forum . I understand he purchased it new in early 2022.

While not perfect, the fit and finish is quite good. The back spring is flush both closed and open, The blade is not centered but it's noy off far and does not rub. The rosewood while rather plain is taking on a nice tone from handling. I did need to dress the liners down a dab as they were a tiny bit proud. The pull is somewhat stout but that seems par for the course on these British knives.

You will find faults in most knives, i have GEC knives with issues. There is no holy grail.

That Rosewood looks good now and will age well with use. A most under rated wood.
