I'm still trying to find land to do it on. If I can I'm in, though I'll be taking a first aid kit, and other "Oh shit" supplys that are to remain unused.
That was never within the rules.
I would think we should stay as close to the originals as possible.
Real simple rules:
A blade (one only), anything you can fit into an Altoids tin (standard size for the all the smart people! ), standard clothing for the season and environment, notepad and pencil, camera and extra batteries. If you need to take a tripod for self-portraits, no problem. Cell phone and/or PLB for emergencies.
1) Kit innovation.
2) Actual use of the blade and the kit's tools in the wilds.
3) The most survival tasks accomplished while in the wilds for 3 days (shelter, fire, food, etc).
4) Photo documentation and note taking of the whole trip.
One man or women in, alone as though they were thrown out of the car after work one day.
Simple.
