There is a small but loud group of people here that absolutely hate this company.

Why do you suppose that is?

. They take great pride in the fact that they have a large never ending hate thread for the company. They feel very accomplished that it shows up in google searches (sorta like being the famous guy in a small town).

Again, that is a project with a purpose, namely to warn others of the shady practices of this company. We've had numerous examples of it working. If you keep working at it you can have TWO such threads show up first. Good job!

That's not what is going on at all. I don't think anyone is telling someone they are part of the problem because they got their knife. Instead they are telling people that they are part of the problem if they continue to support hucksters knowing that they are hucksters.

One of the videos on Youtube from July said that they were almost complete with their backlog and ALL of it would be completed in a few weeks. Which did not turn out to be true. This was after they said the same thing last December.

Of course not. What could he possibly say? He (or Ellie) would do their historical usual, and try to shill by putting some positive ad-copy spin on how they were almost caught up using really vague language that a lawyer wouldn't be able to use to trap them with, and talk about and how things were "better than ever", how they'd really "turned around", but once we started asking questions like:

- "Why were you selling "Ugly Betties" before knife parts were even in hand for you to identify them as such? Bonus question: why did "Ugly Betty" knives have the same wait time as your regular orders?"
- "Why do you still have outstanding knife orders from 2015? This means that you chose to try to create new knives (to hoover up new preorder money) instead of making the knives that were already paid for. Why is that?"
- "Why did you attempt to place the blame of all of your years of poor performance and inability to run a business onto Millitt and try to slander their name?"

And so on, they'd immediately bounce. He has no answers for these that would be logical or honorable, so of course dude doesn't come in here. LOL

This seems accurate. I can understand people who were duped by Survive's shipping deadlines, promises, and 6+ years of the boy who cried wolf. I'd be livid too.
Others who don't have a dog in the fight seem even more righteously upset. Vicariously angry maybe? Outrage porn.


The admittingly well-founded criticism about Survive! is just on repeat at this point. The problem for these people is that more and more it actually seems like Survive has sorted their shit out and moving forward. The prospect of that seems even more upsetting for some.

They're finally putting orders out. GSO 6's, 4.5s, 5.1s. People are having GSO 10s, 12s slowly starting to show up. I think I've seen people saying some 8's are starting to ship. They have some smaller blades shipping (3.5?) and they're shipping out their new stuff too. EDC series.

Are they shipping new stuff before their old stuff? Yes. That's pissing people off. I know it would piss me off. It doesn't benefit them to keep people waiting but they're probably triaging that against being able to get new stuff out the door for more money.
