I copied and paste this for the simple reason I have respect for mods, and I complained several weeks ago how GBU has gotten 1000% out of control, out of control. A Mod, I have major respect posted the below, a rule, clear and simple. Read it, It covers exactly what Cali4me has done and explains why Kelama posted as he did. I make zero judgements, because I support this forum with a high paid membership. I purchase a ton of knives from makers and members and I support many suppliers and craftsmen here. Yet, I know that I stand a greater risk of banning than the real problem here, Cali4me, who in his own works trolled, cheated another site and a member here, and is a source of discord even now. Heck I was given 10 points for bumping an exchange item, which members do 10-15 times daily. Unless everyone is reading this thread, Cali4me still can buy from any member here and do the same he admits he did on ebay to a member here. He is a living, walking, freely existing, buyer or trader who your friends here may be dealing with. yet, again I AM NOT a Mod, and I did not write the below.

Rules for posting in the Good, Bad, and Ugly
New Ground Rules for the GBU:
There is entirely too much chaos here including insults, bickering, vulgarity, and other nonsense that has no place here. It is detracting from the purpose of what the forum was originally created for. This is going to stop immediately or infractions are going to be issued from the get go. This text is a forum wide warning. You should take this into consideration BEFORE posting a thread here:
- You need common sense, period. You are responsible to do your own research BEFORE making any deals, it's not our responsibility to babysit and hand hold you through every transaction. We will help, but we are not going to do everything for you. Ask questions before buying something, if you need pictures ask for more pictures. The worst that can happen is the seller will say "No, I don't know how" or, "I can't". That is your cue to move along to something else.
- Communication resolves problems. If you cannot communicate with a buyer or seller effectively, then the problem lies with you. Take responsibility for your actions or lack of action. Additionally, use Paypal the way it was intended, if you are giving someone a gift of money, use the "gift" option, if you are buying something from someone, use the "Goods" option. If you are too busy to reply to an email and communicate with the person that you are buying from or selling to, you have no business conducting any sort of transactions.
- Read the Exchange rules. Almost everything you need to know is in there about how to conduct yourself. There is an expectation of maturity and if you cannot participate within that expectation, move onto another section of the forum. Here is a link:

- If you have a grievance with someone, by all means proceed and post your situation. We will do the best we can to help you. But understand, deals that have occurred on other forums, Facebook, Instagram, eBay, and other venues we have no power over. A heads up is appreciated, but be responsible in what you write, it is a permanent record of your thoughts. Your post should consist of factual information, not assumptions or false allegations. If you are heated, wait a day to calm down, no one is impressed by foul mouthed, disorganized posts that contained fragments of broken sentences or giant walls of text that no one reads. This is NOT Whine and Cheese. Do not make comments that are barbed or provoke other people to get angry. Cool, calm, and collected is the way to deal with disagreements.
- We understand that there are a lot of passionate people, but you too need to learn when to comment and when to walk away. Patience is a virtue and you will need it anytime you are in any sort of business transaction. This is not intended to become a section of nothing of high-fiving and back patting for things either. Post your opinions and thoughts constructively or don't post at all. Learn to be amicable, gracious even, and agree to disagree politely. Forums are a place where people of differing opinions can come together to discuss a hobby. Agreeing to disagree amicably is preferred to acting out like a pack of spoiled 2 year olds.
- Blasting someone with negative feedback when there was no completed deal will absolutely earn you an infraction. Make no mistake. You should read the rules and know how things work before jumping in head first into the shallow end of the pool.
SECTION 3 - Rules for Everyone -
1. If any rules seem contradictory, the more stringent rules apply. Whenever there is doubt, ask the moderation staff.
2. Selling on this site is restricted to the appropriate designated forums. Don't list sales threads outside the Exchange, especially without the appropriate membership.
3. Do not list items or offer services that are illegal. This includes counterfeit, clone, and knock off items. We don't want them here, period.
4. THREAD NECROMANCY IS HIGHLY DISCOURAGED. Do not bump threads that are older than 120 days. Send the seller a message instead via their profile page.
5. Make sure your threads are posted in the correct sections. Posting a watch for sale belongs in "Gadgets & Gear", not in "Fixed Blades", and so on.
6. These forums operate on honesty and integrity. As such, we have a dim view of people who act dishonestly. Your actions in the community have consequences, even if they happen elsewhere., something to keep in mind.
7. Duplicate/shill/returning banned members can be banned upon discovery. If you need accounts merged, simply start a thread in Tech Support requesting such, you will be provided instructions on how to proceed.
8. Sellers can keep or delete the prices in their thread, it is their prerogative.
9. Please do NOT post giant billboard sized signatures. Be reasonable.
SECTION 4 - Rules for Feedback & GBU-
1. All feedback on sales or trades must be kept to the Feedback Forum and/or iTrader. Don't clutter a sales thread with it.
2. It is not mandatory to leave feedback, but it is highly recommended. It serves an important purpose sharing your good and bad experiences with the community. If you need help ask us, we can help.
3. We will not edit feedback for you unless it's an obvious error (ie negative rating). You can report it using the black triangle button on the iTrader page. This means you need to be responsible when leaving iTrader feedback. Read on.
4. Retaliatory negative feedback ratings can earn you an infraction. Getting pissed off because a deal didn't go though is no reason to try to ruin someones rep. You are expected to conduct yourself in a mature and responsible manner, failure to do so will result in warnings or infractions as necessary.
5. If a deal did not happen, there is no iTrader Feedback to leave. Sorry if you were inconvenienced, but life is full of disappointments. As long as you are not out any items or any money, move along. Consider improving the terms of your sales threads in order to avoid this, and read terms more carefully as a buyer.
6. Threads started in the Feedback: G, B, & U section should contain facts that support your reason for starting a thread. Remember there is a difference between opinion and fact. Keep your topic civil or hold off posting until you've composed yourself. Complaining about a person that has exercised their rights as a seller or buyer does no good, and it may backfire on you and your own reputation may get damaged. Is it worth it?
7. You need to be able to communicate in a clear, accurate, and organized manner. Insults, vulgarity, racist comments will not be tolerated whatsoever.
8. Dog-piling for the sake of putting your 2 cents in is not going to be tolerated. If you have something useful to contribute, share it with confidence. If you are only going to contribute some silly comment made to provoke or inflame an already ugly situation, save it and move along.
