Adam and Haley DesRosiers(Consolidated Updates and Donations)

you guys are all great and it is so good to see so much love shown by so many. Adam and Haley are going to be here in Seattle to teach two classes at studio 4 mid Jan even after loosing there shop that's just the kind of folks they are and one of the many reason we all love them so much. I do not have a Knife to put up right now. Andrea and I are planing to get them a much needed tool to go in the new shop you are all helping to build. Thanks so much.

I donated through the YouCaring website but would also like to make a knife display box to donate to one of the auctions. It will be similar to the ones I donated to CKCA banquet and Fisk Micro Show. Photos below are from the Fisk Show.

It looks like there may be a couple of different auctions so please just let me know which is preferred and dates. It will be done by Little Rock show and will either use Pommel Bubinga or curly Koa. I still have some of both woods so if there is a preference, please let me know.

I have had the opportunity to chat with Adam and Haley a few times at BLADE... Their character and goodness can be felt. I can only imagine being in their situation, living where they live the weight and thoughts of rebuilding.

The outpouring of support is amazing but not surprising. Every corner I turn I see another person stepping up. Thanks for all your community support over the years DesRosiers!

I started a new thread on Ryan Weeks' proposed project HERE
It's going to be a fairly involved project, and I don't want it to overflow into this thread and dilute it down at all.

Steven, I am putting together a first season forged in fire contestants package , so far I have about 12 guys putting a blade in, and maybe a couple from second season I should have everything ready to show by mid febuary and will run it in GW's and Bens auction. I know a lot of us have made small contributions to paypal as well. I think this is a great cause for a great couple and two of the best makers out there.
