Today I was just really lucky. I'd forgotten about the sale until I went to check my email and realized that it was 2 minutes to sale time. So I started refreshing the forum but nothing was happening for several minutes. I was just about ready to quit refreshing the forum, remembering that Jo mentioned that Nathan was gone, so I figured that the sale was probably not happening. But then when I refreshed one more time, there was the sale! I poted my reply, and when it refreshed, it showed me as the first poster. I waited for a moment, fully expecting that when I refreshed the screen another time, that I'd find that I'd dropped a number of places (which has happened many times before), but to my amazement, I was still #1.
I'm looking forward to getting a chance to handle a K18, since I was foolish and didn't get in on the pre-order.

That knife /sword was a concept created for a specific event. Once it was shown around, enough interest was created that it was like, ok, maybe this could work! Then it proceeded to bite him in the butt till it was done.

And while Nathan’s dread of it is understandable, the truth from an owner/user point of view is that it’s a beautiful great handling beast that all of us would be DAMN proud to own. Makes that outrageous eBay sale make a tiny bit of sense. Guaranteed collectors item.

I did not jump in K18 preorder because it was next to impossible to import a long double edged knife to where i live.
I still havent figured out how to safely import it, but your K18 sale posts were to tempting.
have to jump in, first thing first, get the knife, worry about how to smuggle it later
It might be actually good that I keep losing the speed race sales
