I don’t understand why we don’t see katalox on knives much more often. It’s such a beautiful wood! The depth you get from the curly variety doesn’t show up too well in pictures, but it is so pretty in person!!

Eliminates the half stop you get from a square tang.

I got confused with what a cam tang was. I actually have a few knives with them already.

I found the action out of the box to be a little off-putting. Definitely mushy at the mid-point, but a little better with lots of oil and some open-close cycles. Beautiful knife overall though.
