I was early to the alert. Went and checked em out and passed them along. They look great! Congrats to the lucky people who snagged one.
I sat this one out. That Snakewood was hard to pass up though. Can’t wait to see photos when these start rolling in.
I haven't bought one yet. I either miss em or have recently purchased a knife. Just bad timing. Did you get one!?Thank you both I for one really appreciate you guys that have been able to score one or several before giving those of us that have not a few more seconds too. Truly thank you.
Sorry Spock.....you were more than 4 minutes late. I saw the email two minutes after I received it and it was already too lateCongrats to those who scored... Alias I noticed the email 6 minutes after it was sent so I was 4 minutes late AGAIN!
Fox79 the numbers on this batch were 20 snakewood, 23 kirinite, and 8 axis antler
Hey folks, sorry so many of you are having a hard time snagging a knife. The demand is just mind-bogglingly high right now. As of last night I had just shy of 1200 people on the email list. Eventually I should think things will simmer down a bit, and in the meantime I'll keep cranking them out. For those of you who've been wondering how I go about the launches; I set up the email so it's ready to send. I then list all the knives on the website and set them as drafts. When the time comes, I hit "send" on the emails (all sent as a batch) and immediately set the listings to "active". That's about as simultaneous as I can make it.
Fox79 the numbers on this batch were 20 snakewood, 23 kirinite, and 8 axis antler ( I had just 1 antler to work with as a trial run). I used up the last of my parts on this batch and I'm working on new parts now so it may be a little while before the next run is done, but in the meantime I'll be working on the sheath knives to keep things rolling.
Had a bit of a price increase on this run due to some price increases on my end as well as seeing what my tax situation will be. I definitely started out too low but I think it's now where it should be.
I just want to thank you all again for the amazing support you've given me, hopefully I can eventually get a knife to each of you!
Also, did you notice that I listed the snakewood as snakeskin wood? What?? That cracks me up. I think my brain gets a little whacked out at launch time LOL!
