I want to thank everyone for their support !! LOL !First of all, I asked that the knife be returned and I would return payment including the fees. Randy was not sure as HE WANTED ME TO RETURN $50.00 AND HE WOULD KEEP THE KNIFE. HE CALLED ME A LIAR IN HIS FIRST PM EVEN AFTER I VOLUNTEERED TO REFUND ALL OF IT AND THREATENED THAT HE WOULD KEEP IT OUT OF FORUMS IF I GIVE BACK $50.00 AND I SAID NO !!JUST SEND IT BACK!! I HAVE TO SAY THAT IT WAS NOT IN THAT SHAPE WHEN I SHIPPED IT OUT. I BOUGHT THAT KNIFE TWO WEEKS BEFORE I SOLD IT AND SHIPPED IT OUT IN THE SAME SHAPE AS I FELT IT WAS LARGER THAN I THOUGHT. I HAVE PHOTOS TO SHOW HOW IT WAS WHEN I SHIPPED AND HE MAY SAY IT WAS EARLIER PHOTOS. YES, IT WAS PHOTOS FROM THE SELLER I BOUGHT IT FROM TWO WEEKS EARLIER AND KNIFE WAS STILL IN THE SAME CONDITON WHEN I SOLD IT !CAN I NOT ALSO SAY THE PHOTOS HE HAS ARE AFTER HE USED AND ABUSED IT SO HE CAN GET $50.00 BACK?? I DO NOT WANT THIS TO GO FULL SCALE AND YOU ALL CAN THINK WHAT YOU WANT, I DON'T GIVE A SHIT!!GOD KNOWS ! ALL I WANT IS TO RESOLVE THIS AND GET MY KNIFE BACK AND HIS MONEY TO HIM. YES, YOU THINK I AM A THIEF AND WON'T RETURN HIS MONEY. I WOULD LIKE TO ASK A MODERATOR TO INTERCEDE AND BE RECEPIENT OF THE GOODS.THIS IS WHAT I SENT! I AM SURE SOMEBODY I SOLD SOMETHING TO KNOWS ME. I AM NOT THAT STUPID TO CALL THAT MINT !I GUESS RANDY IS IN FOR THE DRAMATICS AS I JUST WANTED TO REFUND THE MONEY INCLUDING FEES. NO, I DID NOT OFFER TO GIVE HIM BACK $50.00 ! HE WANTED ME TO GIVE THAT TO KEEP QUIET !! HE SAID THE BLADE WAS OFF CENTERED, DOES THAT LOOK OFF CENTERED TO YOU?? DOES RICK MAKE OFF CENTERED KFOLDERS??

oh man, this is looking worse and worse.

Demand your money back and then ship the knife back to him. You can get the Xm elsewhere at another time.

liar is exactly what you are man. No hiding it. You bought the damn knife for 375 where the person who sold it to you WAS HONEST ABOUT THE CONDITION.

Hey there Danny. Yes infact that blade is off centered. This was not the issue though, as I said that much earlier. I "should" of asked for a picture, my bad on this.

The issue is that you did in fact lie...take a look at that thread again. He says "used" he do a very good job of telling you what you were getting. And even if you shoot me $50 bucks back to may paypal...............you still made a profit.

you bought a knife that was listed as used, carried and sharpened and then turned around and sold it as "mint" for somewhere in the neighborhood of $175 dollars more then you paid for the knife when its condition was listed honestly. no matter how you cut it, that looks very bad. Whether an honest mistake or not, I can say that I would, without a doubt, never purchase a knife from you just on general principle.

I'd like to hear if solstice has anything to say about the condition of the knife when he sold it vs. the condition as shown in So-Lo's pics.

I was asking to pay a "used" price. I paid him $550 plus the paypal fees. I was asking for $50 back, so that I paid $500 for this XM-18. Blackmail yes, extortion no.............but I love that idea. :D

come on -fity bucks and i wont show the pics-thats bullsnot-

wasnt as listed -but he did offer full refund-the ifs and buts from both sides after all the garbage are worthless as far as im concerned -
just my opinion and worth nothing
 
it's quite clear that it should not have been represented as MINT. even more so that the original seller represented it otherwise. the transaction should / can be unwound with no monetary loss to the buyer, but the distaste is also there. the $50 comment to keep it off the forums - was that tongue-in-cheek or serious comment? that comes out wrong.

I'm sorry to read this experience, I hope both parties can work something out.

On a side note, I really wish sellers would describe the condition of their knives properly and accurately. Don't say I didn't see....you're supposed to check the blade before you sell it. I personally clean my folders before shipping it out. You won't find pocket lint etc and I'll oil the pivot also. I recently experienced something similar and I was very disappointed as well. Like the buyer I wanted the knife so kept quiet. I had hope the seller would initiate a discount but he didn't. Sometimes we slip up and ship a knife without checking properly....in those cases, immediately offer to unwind, pay for all shipping or even send something as a goodwill gesture. In this case, it isn't a slip up....especially since it's clear that the knife was bought at a reduced price in the original sale for the very same reason that the knife had been used a fair bit.
 
So Lo I would offer this....keep the knife and lose the $50 offset charge. I'd rather overpay than loose the knife and the payment. This guy is not trustworthy enough to send him the knife while he still has the cash. If he wants his name back HE can put himself out there and return the payment and then have you send in the knife. He did lie and I wouldn't let him get you twice!

hm here is the thing that I dont get, even if he lose his fame, he can make a new account and keep going. sort of like me (i did not make new account cuz i did something wrong, i just didnt like the name 'mliu8n' :cool:)
 
I wonder what is eating you, that I bought it less than I sold it for?? If the knife did get to you like that, why can't you just send it back and get a refund?? I wish Solstice would read this forum and make his comments?? Is that how it was when I you sent it??I really don't care if I sold another item in this forum as I am in this forum to enjoy the camaderie(guess this is a turning point?)If I make some money from buying low and selling high, good! I do not depend on this to eat!! Like I said, if you all don't trust me, I will send payment to a third party( I can trust, like STR if he will). Fact is, Randy is still emailing me for the $50.00 and all is done! No, I want the knife back and money returned. I don't want him to keep the knife!! Keep my name in your buddy list and say I am a "nobuddy keep off".to you would be judges :cool:

I 'll tell you what, let's get this thing settled and you can start a petition to ban me and believe you me, I won't even attempt to come back after hearing all the negative comments from my would be judges!!
