Please do send the pictures, but I have no other way than your "word" to know if these are up to date pictures. They could of been pictures of when it was new.
Here is how I feel, you have sold about as many items as I have here give or take a few. I nor you have never had a "bad" one. If you "say" this knife was not in this condition when you sent it, I almost believe you. As its hard to totally trust the USPS.
But here is the problem, how the hell did it still make it in two working days? Seems to me if a USPS punk searched this box and used it, it would at least be a day late or never make it.
I know we are both going to look bad if we go to the good bad and the ugly.......but we might have to go there
Rick is still selling these for around $400 I believe, but they are worth $550 IMHO, but a used one should not cost what a new or like new one. So this is where my idea of a $50 refund comes in. If you feel $50 is to much, what would be the proper amount to you? Or you might not even think of a refund, and want this knife back.
Here is what we both will have in the end if I send it back.
I still want a spanto XM-18 used or new. You would have a "used" XM-18 spanto that is still "to big." My guess is that it would be a hard sell at $550. You would maybe drop the price, or get "lowball offers."
Here is what we both have if we agree on a refund price.
I get my "user" XM-18 Spanto, and you sell your "now used" XM-18 Spanto. Yeep, you didn't get what you wanted, but there is no doubt in anyones mind that this is "not MINT." No matter if you flat out lied, or the USPS had some knife testing they conducted with out us knowing.
If you get this blade back, do you still plan on selling it? If so, Are you going to list it for the same price or a "used" price? If so thats the amount the refund should be, if its not crazy low.
I will await to pictures and a response before I start making my good bad and ugly thread......with all pics. And all PMs, and emails known for the forum to judge.
Thanks for your time,
Randy Johnson
