This is 426 I used as my EDC until the velcro on the sheath became so weak I couldn't keep it closed. The knife itself still seems in good condition.

Armand- As of lately, my Bucklite Max has not left my pocket.
This folder says, use me.

Max? Here's my guess: The Bucklite Max is the maximum folder for the price point.
A fellow knife knut friend was visiting yesterday and we were looking over some of my folders. This was the first time he handled a Bucklite Max. After a close inspection, he said that the Max was superb in design... from the contoured handles to the solid pocket clip. He also loved the blade shape, with that gorgeous false-edge. Then, he ordered two.

If you want to put a pocket clip on a Bucklite, get a #2X56TPI Helicoil kit and and anchor the clip in the stainless steel threaded coils. The picture shows a clip mounted on a large Bucklite.View attachment 473230

I'm still looking for pictures... There has to be someone out there that has some

Bucklites that we haven't seen yet... Share a few pics... Thanks ...

Boy, we have seen a lot. Thanks, every button. :)
My EDC? Still my Bucklite Max. I love this faux Orange. :D

The second generation bucklites with the lanyard hole are easy to add a pocket clip on. I picked it up at a flea market for $10 and the blade had been broken at some point ( you can't really tell by the picture, but it was quite a bit shorter than original). I sent it into buck and they added a 112 Ranger blade on it. I had an old Frost and the pocket clip on it was the same size as the lanyard hole. I had a sheet metal screw that was also the perfect size and the clip has never came loose. I'm sure there are better looking fastners but this works good.

I started deer hunting around 1984 and carried an olive drab bucklite 422 from then until about 2004 or 2005 when it was lost or stolen. It was all I had or needed. This year I'm carrying a" new to me" 1984 olive drab green bucklite (not the same knife in the above picture).

Thanks jec88, for sharing your picture of your 422...
That's a great idea on the pocket clip... I might give
it a try soon... I just need to get the parts...:thumbup::thumbup:
